The best dry wine that we have!
A whole new style of wine! A new blend of Furmint and Linden that fermented with oak boards, this wine was also aged for 2 years in tank on yeast. 2 years of Sur lie and the wood that was to be used for the new Barrique type barrels gave the wine a subtle touch of vanilla, tobacco, but did not overwhelm the character of this wine!
A wine of sparkling Italian gold Tokaj and subtly smoky aromatics. Sweetness evoking notes of quince, yellow plums and apples are complemented by natural nuances of charcoal and peat . The palate is round , honeyed and ripe on the entry with a light touch of wood and a nice tickling acidity on the finish. The aftertaste develops a refreshing Tokaj acidity reminiscent of fresh limes.
WHY ROŇAVA?
This river has become an inspiration. It is a border river that was important in our area at the creation of Czechoslovakia. It is a less known river, but it divided the Tokaj into Slovak and Hungarian parts. Not only the area, but also two peoples who have lived here in symbiosis for hundreds of years. This unique wine was created because wine is meant to unite people, not divide them. Combining 85% Furmint and 15% Linden, fermented and aged for 2 years with oak boards, the result is a powerful wine full of flavour.
